The MS-EP5860-300 measures 154.9 × 95.3 × 52.4mm and weighs 0.40kg without paper, making it suitable for equipment with limited internal installation space. Its new plastic bracket provides a lightweight structure that simplifies installation and equipment integration.
The side-opening cover allows convenient paper loading and maintenance, while the printer can accommodate thermal paper rolls up to Ø80mm. Depending on the bracket configuration, it supports 58mm or 60mm paper widths.
The printer supports standard thermal paper and black-mark thermal paper, while optional gap detection enables compatibility with gap-marked adhesive thermal paper. Multiple sensors monitor printhead temperature, paper status, black marks, gaps, paper output, and other operating conditions.
These detection functions allow system integrators to configure the ticket printer module according to different paper-handling requirements. A paper-near-end adjustment lever can also be used to configure the remaining-paper warning level.
The MS-EP5860-300 features a dedicated anti-jam and anti-pull paper outlet designed to improve ticket and receipt output reliability. The outlet incorporates optical detection functions to help monitor paper delivery and identify abnormal output conditions.
The printer supports automatic paper feeding and paper loading through the side-opening cover, with full-cut and half-cut options. This combination of paper handling and cutter functions makes the module suitable for repeated ticket printing in unattended equipment.
The MS-EP5860-300 provides standard power, RS232, and USB interfaces, with baud rates of 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200bps. An optional cash-drawer interface is available, although it uses the RS232 interface.
The module supports ASCII 9×17 and 12×24 characters and Chinese 24×24-dot characters, together with reverse, underline, italic, and bold printing formats. A power indicator, error indicator, illuminated paper-outlet warning strip, power button, and paper-feed button provide straightforward user interaction and status feedback.
The MS-EP5860-300 is suitable for self-service kiosks, ticketing machines, vending machines, parking terminals, payment equipment, lottery terminals, queue management systems, check-in machines, and other automated devices requiring compact high-resolution ticket printing.
Masung can support OEM and ODM customization of mounting brackets, paper width, paper outlet configuration, sensor functions, interface options, warning settings, and other mechanical or functional requirements.
