The MS-HZ80 supports two common thermal paper widths, 58mm and 80mm, allowing equipment manufacturers to configure printing solutions for different applications. With a resolution of 8 dots/mm, 576 dots per line, and a maximum print width of 72mm, it produces clear text, receipts, tickets, and machine-readable codes. Its maximum printing speed of 120 mm/s helps improve transaction efficiency in busy self-service environments.
Equipped with a sliding cutter, the MS-HZ80 supports full-cut and half-cut functions to accommodate different ticket and receipt dispensing requirements. The cutter has a rated service life of up to 1,000,000 cuts, making it suitable for equipment that requires frequent printing. Its front-opening panel and easy-load paper mechanism also simplify paper replacement and routine maintenance.
The MS-HZ80 incorporates a reflective optical sensor for paper-out and last-sheet detection, along with a thermal resistor for printhead temperature monitoring. These features help reduce printing interruptions and support consistent operation. Designed for DC 24V power, the printer operates at temperatures from -10°C to 50°C, making it suitable for a range of indoor commercial and industrial environments.
With USB and RS232 serial interfaces, the MS-HZ80 can be integrated into a wide range of kiosk controllers and embedded systems. It supports commonly used barcode formats, including EAN-8, EAN-13, CODE39, and CODE128, as well as QR codes. Its rated printing life of up to 100 km and compact dimensions of 131.2 × 62.6 × 107 mm make it a practical choice for long-term installation in space-constrained self-service equipment.
