Space-Saving All-in-One Design

The SP701 integrates the SOMT-15 printer mechanism with a self-developed control board and ARM-based solution. This integrated construction reduces the space required for the compact panel printer and can make mechanical and mould development more straightforward.

Measuring only 76.6 × 73.6 × 54.8 mm and weighing approximately 82 g, the micro printer can be integrated into compact terminals and equipment where installation space is limited.

300 DPI-Class Clear Printing

The panel thermal printer uses line thermal printing with 384 dots per line and a resolution of 8 dots/mm. It supports 58 mm paper with a 48 mm printable width and can print at speeds of up to 80 mm/s.

The control board supports ESC/POS commands, USB and serial communication, as well as common one-dimensional barcodes including EAN8, EAN13, CODE39 and CODE128. GB18030 Chinese character support is also available for applications requiring multilingual or Chinese text output.

Easy Paper Loading and Monitoring

Designed for practical equipment integration, the SP701 uses an easy paper-loading structure, allowing operators to replace paper without a complicated loading procedure. A photoelectric sensor detects paper-out conditions, while a thermal sensor monitors the print-head temperature.

Unlike a thermal panel printer equipped with an integrated cutter, the SP701 uses a cutter-free design. This configuration can be suitable when the application uses tear-off paper or has a separate cutting arrangement.

Reliable Embedded Operation

The SP701 is designed for continuous embedded printing, with a rated pulse life of 100 million pulses and a maximum printing length of 50 km. It operates at 0–50°C with 10–90% RH non-condensing humidity and supports 5 V ±10% and 8 V ±10% power configurations.
