The MS-EP5860-B integrates the control board and printing mechanism into one compact module, helping save valuable space inside kiosks and other equipment. Its dedicated plastic paper outlet also makes installation, paper output, and routine maintenance more convenient for equipment manufacturers and operators.
The printer supports thermal paper up to 60mm wide and can accommodate rolls up to 80mm in diameter, making it suitable for applications requiring relatively long intervals between paper replacement. An adjustable paper holder allows the module to adapt to different equipment layouts, while automatic horizontal 180° paper feeding simplifies paper loading.
The MS-EP5860-B supports both full-cut and half-cut paper output, providing greater flexibility for different receipt, ticket, and information-printing applications. Its cutter is rated for up to 1 million cuts, while the printing mechanism has a paper-feed and printing life of up to 100km, supporting frequent operation in unattended environments.
Multiple detection functions help improve operational reliability, including a printhead temperature sensor, mechanical lever switch, optical paper-out detection, and a gap detection sensor. The gap detection function allows the printer to work with gap-marked adhesive thermal paper, while the convenient paper-jam maintenance design helps reduce service time.
The MS-EP5860-B is suitable for self-service kiosks, ticketing machines, check-in terminals, information kiosks, vending machines, parking systems, POS equipment, and other unattended or high-traffic machines.
For OEM and ODM projects, Masung can support printer integration, equipment mounting, adjustable paper-holder configurations, paper-output design, RS232 or USB connectivity, software integration, and other mechanical or functional requirements according to the customer's equipment design.
