Designed as a barcode scanner for kiosk and other self-service equipment, this scanner provides reliable 1D and 2D code reading in applications where fast and consistent scanning is required. Its 1280 × 1080 image sensor and 617 nm red LED illumination support accurate barcode capture, with a decoding accuracy of ≥4 mil.
As an embedded barcode scanner, the device supports a broad range of 1D and 2D symbologies, including QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, Han Xin, UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, GS1 DataBar, and postal codes. Its 55° horizontal × 47° vertical field of view enables flexible code capture, while its sensitivity supports ±60° tilt, ±60° deflection, and 360° rotation.
The scanner works as an embedded QR code scanner with high motion tolerance of >2 m/s, making it suitable for applications where users present codes quickly or products move through the scanning area. It can read codes with different contrast levels and supports a typical reading range of 0–170 mm for 13 mil UPC-A codes and 0–70 mm for 5 mil Code 39.
As an Embedded 1D & 2D code reader and Embedded 1D & 2D code scanner, it provides flexible integration through RS232, USB, and USB COM interfaces. Measuring 143 × 119 × 67 mm and weighing 209 g, the scanner operates at DC 5V and supports temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, ambient light up to 100,000 lux, and 1.2 m drop resistance, making it suitable for kiosks, self-service terminals, and other embedded equipment.
