The MS-7120 is an Embedded 1D & 2D code reader capable of decoding a wide range of commonly used barcode formats. Supported 2D symbologies include QR Code, MicroQR, Data Matrix, PDF417, MicroPDF417, Aztec, Maxicode, and Hanxin, while 1D formats include UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, GS1 DataBar, China Postal, and Korean Postal codes. With a scanning accuracy of ≥5 mil, it can handle a variety of code sizes and applications.

Close-Range and Mobile Code Scanning

With a reading range of approximately 15–85 mm for UPCA 13 mil codes, 15–35 mm for Code 39 5 mil codes, and 25–100 mm for QR Code 20 mil codes, the MS-7120 is designed for close scanning within compact equipment. Its high sensitivity supports tilt of ±65°, deflection of ±60°, and 360° rotation, while motion tolerance above 2 m/s helps maintain efficient scanning when codes or users are moving.

The embedded QR code scanner measures just 67 × 67 × 35 mm and weighs approximately 145.5 g, allowing it to be integrated into kiosks, gates, terminals, and other space-constrained equipment. It supports RS232, USB, and USB COM interfaces, providing flexible connectivity for different host systems. The DC 5V design and 500 mA rated current also simplify integration into compatible electronic equipment.
