Its 640 × 480 CMOS sensor, 6500K white LED illumination, ≥5 mil resolution, and 72° diagonal field of view support efficient code capture in compact scanning environments.

Wide 1D & 2D Code Compatibility

As an embedded barcode scanner and embedded barcode reader, the MS-7160N supports widely used 1D and 2D symbologies, including QR Code, PDF417, Data Matrix, Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, GS1 DataBar, and more. It offers a typical reading depth of 0–240 mm for 15 mil Code 128 and 0–230 mm for 20 mil QR Code.

The MS-7160N works as an embedded QR code scanner for applications that require close-range and mobile screen scanning. Its optimised algorithm supports barcode reading from smartphone displays with low backlight, while its ≥2 m/s motion tolerance and sensitivity of ±55° tilt, ±55° deflection, and 360° rotation provide flexible scanning performance.

Compact Design for Easy Integration

As an Embedded 1D & 2D code reader and Embedded 1D & 2D code scanner, the MS-7160N measures only 77.5 × 66 × 45 mm and weighs 75 g, making it suitable for space-constrained equipment. It supports RS-232, USB, and USB COM interfaces, operates at DC 5V, and withstands temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, ambient light up to 100,000 lux, and drops from 1.2 m onto concrete.
