The E40 uses direct thermal printing technology with a resolution of 300 dpi and a maximum speed of 250 mm/s. With a maximum printing width of 104 mm and maximum printing lengths of up to 4,800/2,200 mm, it can handle a variety of label formats.
For logistics operations, the E40 can function as a direct thermal label printer for barcodes, product information, warehouse identification, and shipping documentation. Printing speed can be adjusted according to the required print quality and application.
Supporting label widths from 50 to 110 mm, a minimum label height of 20 mm, and media thicknesses from 0.06 to 0.35 mm, the E40 can accommodate different industrial label materials. Its maximum paper roll diameter is 150 mm, helping reduce the frequency of media replacement.
These capabilities make it suitable as a shipping label printer or thermal printer for shipping labels in warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics operations. It can also support the production of postage and delivery labels where compatible direct thermal media is used.
The E40 supports labels with gaps, continuous paper, perforated paper, and waybill-style media. After printing, users can configure the printer for either tear-off or peeling operations according to the workflow.
This flexibility allows the E40 to work as a label printer for shipping labels, product labels, and other adhesive media. For applications requiring a printer that prints sticky labels, the supported media range provides flexibility for different label sizes and production requirements.
The printer features a 2.4-inch color touchscreen for configuration and daily operation. Standard interfaces include USB, Ethernet, and a GPIO card interface through DB15, allowing the printer to connect with computers, networks, and automated equipment.
Firmware upgrades and print-density adjustment are supported, while the built-in paper compartment simplifies media installation. An optional folded-paper compartment is also available for applications using fanfold media.
The E40 is suitable for warehousing, distribution, shipping and logistics, food and beverage, retail products, product identification and goods labelling. It can be used as a postage label printer, label and postage printer, or label shipping maker for warehouses, packing stations, distribution centers, and shipping workstations.
