Handling Thick Paper Tickets
Unlike standard receipt printers, the MS-MD825 is configured as a printer for thick paper tickets, supporting paper thicknesses from 150 to 250μm. This makes it suitable for paper tickets that require added durability, including magnetic stripe rail tickets, folding ticket stock, and event passes. The module includes an automatic paper suction mechanism and a full-cut cutter rated for 1,000,000 cuts, contributing to reliable operation with rigid cardstock.

The MS-MD825 can be used as an event ticket printer for concerts and sports venues or as an admission ticket printer for museums and theme parks. It incorporates an anti-stick thermal head and a gap detection sensor to help reduce paper jams and misprints, while its low-noise operation makes it appropriate for customer-facing environments. With support for RS232 and USB interfaces and a wide operating temperature range, the module is compatible with kiosks, ticket vending machines, and automatic fare collection gates.
