The MS-QP1612 works as both a barcode reader and QR code reader, supporting commonly used 1D and 2D symbologies. Default-enabled formats include EAN13, EAN8, UPC-A, UPC-E0, UPC-E1, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, CodaBar, QR Code, PDF417, and DataMatrix. Additional barcode formats, including Interleaved 2 of 5, Industrial 25, Matrix 2 of 5, Code 11, MSI Plessey, and RSS variants, can also be enabled according to application requirements.
With a 640 × 480 image sensor and 4000K white LED illumination, this qr code scanner reader provides stable scanning performance in different operating environments. It supports codes with accuracy down to ≥5 mil and offers a QR Code 2.3 × 2.23 cm depth of field of 0–270 mm. Tilt and deflection tolerance of ±60° and 360° rotational sensitivity help the scanner barcode reader capture codes from different orientations.
The MS-QP1612 supports USB-HID and USB virtual serial port communication, allowing it to connect directly with compatible computers, POS terminals, and self-service equipment. Its compact 130 × 109 × 111.5 mm desktop design makes it suitable for fixed placement at checkout counters, service desks, ticketing points, and other scanning stations where a qr code scanner desktop solution is preferred.
