Compact Design for Easy Integration

The MS-7710N is a compact embedded barcode scanner designed for self-service and space-constrained equipment. Measuring only 64.8 × 60.5 × 21.2 mm and weighing approximately 30 g, it can be integrated into access control systems, desktop self-service terminals, kiosks, queuing systems, gates, financial equipment, medical devices, express systems, and cashier equipment.

Wide 1D and 2D Barcode Compatibility

As an embedded barcode reader, the MS-7710N supports both 1D and 2D symbologies, including QR Code, PDF417, Data Matrix, Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, GS1 DataBar, and other commonly used formats. Depending on the model, scanning resolution reaches ≥4 mil, with a diagonal field of view of up to 80° for broad and flexible code capture.

Fast QR Code Scanning for Mobile Screens

The MS-7710N can also function as an embedded QR code scanner for digital payment and identification applications. Its wide scanning angle and specialised decoding capability support QR codes displayed on smartphones, including Alipay and WeChat codes, while the high-performance sensor helps capture codes under different contrast and lighting conditions. Optional OCR-B character reading further expands its application possibilities.

Flexible Interfaces for OEM Integration

For OEM and customised equipment projects, the MS-7710N can be integrated as a flexible barcode reader module or 2D barcode scanner module. It supports USB, USB COM, TTL/RS-232, TTL3.3V, and TTL5V interfaces, with physical connection options including a 12-pin 0.5 mm FPC and 6-pin MX1.25-pitch terminal block. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, ambient light tolerance up to 100,000 lux, and 1.2 m drop resistance, it is suitable for demanding embedded applications.
