The printer provides diversified interface options, including RS-232, USB, Parallel, Ethernet, and RJ45, allowing integration with different ticketing systems, kiosks, computers, and networked machines. This interface flexibility makes it suitable for equipment manufacturers developing movie ticket kiosks and other automated ticket-printing systems.
The MS-MD80I supports 80mm thermal paper rolls up to 80 × 80mm and features an easy-loading mechanism for convenient paper replacement. Its sliding cutter supports optional full or partial cutting for different ticket formats and media requirements. The cutter is rated for up to 1 million cuts and supports paper thicknesses from 60 to 120μm.
An eye-catching LED indicator provides convenient visual status monitoring during operation, while the reflective photoelectric sensor detects paper-out conditions. A thermistor monitors print-head temperature to support stable printing. Optional black-mark detection is available for specialized media and applications that require accurate positioning, such as tickets or receipts with designated tear-off lines.
Measuring 132.6 × 135 × 133mm and weighing approximately 1.05kg without the paper roll, the MS-MD80I is designed for integration into compact self-service equipment. Its 100km mechanical life and operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C support continuous use in a range of machine environments.
